Well I originally wrote something saying that either we Brits can't write sitcom or the Brits who can write sitcoms aren't being given the opportunities.
Due to some difficulty editing I wiped it out. So it's not what I originally wrote. I'm thinking of removing my name from it.

However it's a widely held belief that the Yanks have become better at writing sitcom than us (though this may be an illusion-a lot of Yankee sitcoms are awful but we don't see them apparently).

I thought it was team written - Friends that is. And by the look of this it's an American show isn't it?
