Didn't the FA just announce that the next England boss will indeed be English?

Problem is, is the only two Englishmen, who really are going to be considered have only recently(ish) taken on new jobs. If we draw or lose one of these two qualifiers I think Fabio is gone.

I'd like to see Redknapp give it a go one day.

Yeap butthat's the problem they have isn't it Arry won;t do it this year. Champions League and all that. Roy has just gone to Liverpool. So who is left?

But as I've said before. Why does the National team coach have to have a managing pedigree?

I don't think Joachim Lowe of Germany ever coached a Bundesliga team. No matter what they say it's NOT a full-time job. You just have to watch as many games as possible, motivate the team and be respected. After all - most of us could actually pick a team of the best players.

Someone like Stuart Pearce or Alan Shearer would be ideal.

I would agree with that Chappers, being able to motivate the team is the key thing. They can get a "coach" to do the tactics.

That's why I said "one day". :)

Might O'Neill quite fancy the Nottingham Forest job?

No.

I would if I was him.
Cloughies Club, one he could get back into the premiership.
And not one he couldn't take any further.

He's got a few skeletons in his closet that the FA aren't keen on.

He also looks like he has no bones in his face.

Lesson no 1 in interviewers' school, be careful how you address 'Dirty' Harry Redknapp:

Laughing out loud Laughing out loud Laughing out loud

I think that's the funniest thing I've ever seen.

And he wouldn't know if his farts smell either.
