For anyone who's interested, I'm back from the gig. It was AWESOME. Really, I couldn't have asked for it to go any better. I got so much awesome feedback, and two gig invitations :D Another local promoterwas in the audience and he was dead nice, and even said (I doubt this is true) that my first gig was better than Sarah Millican's. Not that that means anything. Guh sorry I sound dead arrogant- I'm just dead pleased. F**king wired now.

BREATHE.

Congrats, sounds great. Let us know when and where you are next.

Loopey is trying to find some motivation to meet a deadline and not to stress over the washing, which was clean but is now mud spattered due to teenage son using pressure washer on motorbike.
>_<

Nope. Just turned 13 a couple weeks ago. Very hormone ridden. :)

"Knee deep in clunge."

Just out of interest is this site really calling ChuckleVision and Bodger and Badger sitcoms?

Children's sitcoms are still sitcoms!

Okay, just as long as I know.

Having served up more than half a million pages this month already, I note that the board is now nearing its 660,000th post...

Just 8 left!

It feels like Autumn!
Chill in the air. Yum.

Bring on the falling leaves and having to wear a jumper.

I actually let him watch that for the Inbetweeners for the first time the other day and had to do lots of translating for him. Clunge was the word he thought was the funniest.

Oh my!

It is. :D

I hope he observed that he was knee-deep in clunge at the fair. ;)

Just ten posts now to get to 5000, I think I might go and say hello to some new people.

He's got a very grown up sense of humour, so I don't mind if he watches it. What is so funny is that he has 3 best friends and each one is just like one of the guys on the show. Connor is the Simon of the group and the other three are little American carbon copies of the others.

Congrats ahead of time Neil!

Oh, forgot to tell you. I think a friend of mine might be ordering your book, from a site your way, maybe Amazon UK?
