Listen, Love, Sliding Doors is never going to win an award. You got that?

I've never watched it, but it does look like it's probably about as enjoyable as Star Wars! A similar level of acting ability too.

Time for some more Judo.
Quote: Steve Sunshine @ August 25 2010, 9:24 PM BSTFantastic movie, and a brilliant Trilogy to begin with.
On the last day of school for the year, when I was in Grade 1, the entire primary school (it was a very small school - maybe 60 students) was taken to the local cinema to watch Star Wars. I enjoyed it, but didn't go on to become a massive fan, as I preferred comedy and adventure to American sci-fi action. I detested the action figures and their widespread popularity in the school playground, as such games seemed so dull and violent. What I really loved, a few years later, were the Return of the Jedi icy poles (ice creams) - delicious. And then I loved Mel Brooks' film Spaceballs, and more recently the Family Guy spoofs of Star Wars and The Empire Strikes back. The three prequel movies (Phantom Menace, Revenge of the Shit and the other one) were pretty ordinary but not so ghastly as to be unwatchable. As the South Park creators commented (I'm paraphrasing): "George Lucas is so powerful and respected that no one had the balls to intervene and tell him, 'George, you've lost it, these films are shit'."
Just don't get Star Wars. OK, I understand why it was a big hit originally, but whenever I try to watch them I last about 10 mins before nodding off. Oh, and the prequels, I watched one and managed to last all the way through it, and I did enjoy the sight of all those robot things being built and there were like millions of them and the film ended. Which was that one? It wasn't enough to make me watch the next film, but was still slightly 'ooo' but not enough 'rrr'.
The original Star wars films were the f**king shit, and anyone who doesn't like them is a freak.

The force is strong in this one.

Agreed.
There's a great line from Sheldon in The Big Bang Theory when they're talking about watching the films in a different sequence. "I want to be disappointed in the order George Lucas intended".

*high-five*
I'd expect that from you Leevil.
The only Trilogy you appreciate is a club sandwich.
You knows it!
I loved the original Star Wars as a kid. My cousin, who was a spoilt brat, had Star Wars wallpaper, duvet cover and all the action figures. I loved going over to play but was so jealous that I stole his Chewbacca (yes even back in those days I liked hairy guys). Anyhow the little bastard grassed me in, and I got the belt for stealing (they still don't know I took his Rubiks cube too, ha ha!).
