The Daily Mash is hillarious. They also have an iPhone app.
Topical fish ! . . . .

Cheers Griff, I was beginning to think I had tinnitus, but it turns out it was just an undiagnosed ringing endorsement... ahem.
We're doing quite a lot of work behind the scenes on the site at the moment, and we'll be 're-launching' it in late September, at which point we might be inviting freelance writers to contribute - on a profit sharing basis. If anyone is interested, I'll post details nearer the time...

Soz Griff, missed this post. Yeah I am - sort of - just looking for inspiration really. Topical stuff bores me rigid to be honest with you, especially the political balls. But I'm giving it a go.

It's also accurate.
I too am a big fan of the daily mash. I am very into BMX racing ( http://www.bikester.co.uk/bicycles/bmx.html ) and unfortunately a recent accident has left me bed-ridden for the foreseeable future. This site was the first thing to bring a smile to my face in months!
A girl? on a BMX? Well I never!
What about www.TrendFlux.com ?
Always good for a laugh, or so they say...
Most of them are a bit limp compared with their American counterparts (The Onion etc.).
Only occasionally topical but definitely worth a look...
I quite like http://www.newsbiscuit.com/
