It's genuine cinder toffee ! It's just been half eaten... and open for a couple of months..

What is the toffee sitting inbetween, Nat?

Some Rowntree's cocoa powder and Waitrose low cal hot chocolate.

Ben might cook some veal for the first time this weekend.

Rose veal, I hope.

On a lighter note- I have eggy bread.

I have a Tiger loaf....

Don't know whether I am supposed to eat it or to let it eat me...

Can't it be both ?

Waitrose veal, yes.

What type of veal do they have ?

Only place up here I know does rose veal (which is of course, the only kind I'd touch) is Fenwicks. Lovely Fenwicks.

I'm not sure, Nat. Just saw veal escalopes in there the other day.

Be careful- you want rose veal from a GB source. The european veal (especially white veal) is generally still morally dubious (and by dubious, I mean very very cruel).
