If any single type of food constituted a significant part of one's diet, it'd be somewhat detrimental to the health. Such fast food establishments are, of course, not exactly the highest in quality cuisine - but they're not as bad as many people suggest, common conception believes, or indeed as they used to be.
It also very much depends on what you order. If you're grabbing a Big Mac, with all of the cheese and fried onions and whatever other crap they put in, then it's going to be a darn sight worse for you than a plain burger and ketchup.
Well obviously.
Personally, I cook from scratch about ninety percent of my meals, so I know exactly what goes in them.

It depends on the frequency as well.
Sure, which is why a hundred times a year (And he ain't getting no salad, he gets the works) is not good for you. Also, it's not the only place he goes to, he visits other fast food places too. Madness. His insides will be like a chip shop workers hair.

There's apparently a guy who eats Big Macs 3 times a day and is quite healthy.
It's everything in moderation that works.
Three times a day isn't moderation!
And there are always going to be freaks who somehow survive with no detriment to their health. But I'm afraid I'm not going to accept the idea of these places being in any way good or healthy. Of course, visited in moderation, then they're fine.
