Any link to it? Hasn't come up so far.

This link via digitalspy has been taken down.

Judging by the comments this wasn't Croft and Perry's finest hour. ("Not so much Allo, Allo, as Bye de Bye, to a few careers if they ever show this outside You Tube. ")

For the record it was a Lloyd and Croft show.

And it wasn't bad - in fact it was very funny .....just maybe a little dated for these 'enlightend' times!!! I will defend this show to the hilt.

I want to see it, now!

I saw the trailer, watched it a couple of times. Roy is right, it was a little dated. The cast was decent, but from memory some of the content just didn't do it for me. I'm not surprised it didn't get picked up for a series.

However, I hold David Croft in the highest regard. Lovely man.

Interesting fact about his co-writer on Here Comes The Queen - Jeremy Llloyd. Lloyd was meant to go to the party of a certain Sharon Tate, the night she was murdered by the Manson gang. However, luckily he overslept in his hotel room.

I think David asked for it to be taken down after Wendy died.

That's a shame, can see why though.

Should get it out there for people to see it now though.

The more people tell me I can't see or do something, the more desperate I become to achieve it.

I did.

Loved it. I was gutted when it ended Teary It's one of a few cut down before they should have been.

We lost out because they kept moving us around the schedule and also it was on during Wimbledon and Tim Henman's matches went on for days and BBC 1 cleared the schedules to stay with his matches so we were shunted into graveyard slots by the time he'd lost!!!! Hey Ho, the ficklenes of television!!

From the trailer it looked very dated. Perhaps I was harsh to say what I did earlier in the thread as I only watched the trailer but it looked very dated and the critics would probably have ripped it to pieces.

I thought someone would have shown at least some interest in my Jeremy Lloyd story. Don't know why I bothered posting it. *sulking*

I'm interested - but I'd heard it before but not from Jeremy - now cheer up!!

Had he awoke, we may never have had 'Allo 'Allo!. Angry

(To Roy Gould) According to imdb you did Oh Doctor Beeching!

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Mainstream show?

(Actually I felt a bit sorry for Beeching, shame it seems to be Croft and Lloyd's swansong as far as sitcom is concerned-though Lloyd may coming back, you're saying. It needed something a bit more than steam trains I felt, "You Rang M'Lord" seems miles better. They should have had another chance.)

Wasn't it just Croft & Richard Spendlove?? Not sure J.Lloyd was involved with this, although I could be wrong.
