Turn them into flats, you will create housing, jobs and stimulate the economy. Simple dimples.

Yes, it would seem that you are; those stimulants would be incredibly short-term.

Er, there's hardly anything Mr Kipper isn't bitter about. *spits bile onto the floor* Pah!

We've noticed.

I look forward to being operated on in future years by surgeons who have educated themselves by spending three years reading 'How To Be A Surgeon'.

Laughing out loud

Or by spending their 20s converting old universities into blocks of flats.

Then turn them into factories, with tied houses for the workers, put a bar on the houses being sold off and stop British manufacturers like that traitor Dyson from outsourcing their production to third world countries. That will longer term.

That said, we shouldn't run away with the idea that everybody going to university is a first class mind. Business and industry will tell you that the standard of graduates has declined in recent years. And I've worked with some recent graduates who were shockingly ill prepared for the working environment. The sort of clueless clods who spend half their working day on internet message boards and... oh, wait.

I've got my place at Uni. I start in September. It's not sunk in yet.

Get in! Well done Jack! :D

No, I'll agree on that.

Well done Jack top marks there. My son got in too with less impressive results though. He's off to Greenwich. Anyone got a spare room?

Well done Jack.

Well done to your son. Mine is off to Oxford Brookes which is handy as his brother has just moved to Oxford. That's one just graduated and one about to start so probably another 7 year drought for my bank account. :O
