Quite right, Oldrocker!

Triple bollocks.

And Giggs has scored in every Premier League season!

It was always gonna be hard for a first game back, but Man U have looked very good.

Mind you, we're helping them out a little too.

They just need to make sure it doesn't dent their confidence.
We'll see the real Newcastle at St James Park.
*Hopes their ground is still called that.

United - allegedly - always start the season poorly, so this is good!

I seem to remember them winning the first 4 games of the 06/07 season though, so maybe it's just a recent phenomena.

Which part of Manchester are you from Ben?

That's just another form of racism, Bigfella.

Anyway, Berbatov seemed a lot more confident today. Let's hope it holds up. Scholes was as evergreen as ever. I can't wait to hear what Jack Massey has to say.

From the Beeb website: "Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas is set to sign for Juventus on loan for the season, with a view to a full-time £10m switch."

Fools and their money are soon parted - I think they will be both be very happy together. Errr

*shakes head in dismay*

Rio Ferdinand and a dinosaur - can you tell the difference?

Was a good performance last night. Berbatov seems a lot better, yet it's about consistency. If he can score against Fulham next week then he'll be looking good. He needs to score a good 20 goals I think this season, but at least he's scoring when Rooney isn't.
Scholes was fantastic, shame he won't be able to play every game. Michael Carrick has really got to step his game up this season, he was useless last season. He's got to start passing forward like Scholes instead of backwards all the time. It's a shame Ozil went to Real Madrid, he'd have been fantastic, he can pass the ball forward. Only Scholes can do it on the United team.
Just back from watching Young Boys and Spurs. Spurs will probably go through with their two away goals, but they were very poor and will struggle in the elite competition if they don't sort themselves out as they will be playing much better teams. Michael Dawson was way too slow, Wilson Palacious did a school boy backpass that nearly led to another Young Boys goal and despite scoring a very important goal for Spurs, Roman Pavlyuchenko is too greedy, always shooting when players are in better positions. He was like this when he came on against City at the weekend.

I think Nil might well have passed out with excitement

Maybe Gazza bought them all Beer & Chicken beforehand.
