And the bit with Pete pretending to cry in the pub was a bit cringey

I laughed at that.

Talking of the DVD, it'll be interesting to see if there's an option on it where you can watch the show as a straight sitcom, without any sports commentator bits. Hope so.

It'll be interesting to see if there's an option on it where you can watch the test card instead. Hope so.

If you've bought the DVD having not liked the show on TV then you're a bit of a tit.

That's where I knew him from!! Trevor! :D Thankyou.

No Trevor was the Crabtree's neighbour, Daniel was Raymond, the traffic warden husband of the Crabtree's eldest daughter Lorraine

Oh yes, it was a long time ago. :D Cheers anyway.

I was thinking about being in a situation where somebody bought it for me as a present and I had to pretend to watch it......

(I'd say more, but I think I'll try and sell that idea to the writers for their inevitable second series....though I'll have to add some 'third rate Peep Show sexual embarrassment', obviously)

That was ace.

I liked the limp slap his friend gave him at the end.

"I didn't want it to come to that" :D

Was pleased to see Daniel Hill of No Place Like Home and Waiting For God in tonight's episode as Pete's teacher, one of the more unsung comedy actors of last few years IMO

Yes, an undervalued talent.

I agree that episode 2 was an improvement over the first. Quite a few good laughs in that episode - but also concur that the crying scene was not at all enjoyable.

That was excellent, lots of laughs.

Agreed. I also laughed when he started to cry.

Well, it is Peep Show Lite, but even a diet version of that show is pretty fun.

I am enjoying this show I must say.
