Me neither ! Apparently Newcastle had one when I was in London. Well pissed off. I love thunder storms, and my building it so well possitioned to watch awesome lightening.

I do actually want it to clear up tonight, for the meteor shower. (From 10.30pm onwards.)
But after that the clouds and rain are very welcome to come back.

I didn't see any, even though it was a starry night.

But the main lot happens tonight!
They say one every half-second, although that sounds too many to be likely to me.

Grey and overcast - is it too much to hope that summer's f**ked off for the year?

Sadly, I suspect so. :(

I think it's more like one or two per minute.

That's what I thought. That's what they usually say.

It's either supposed to be 100 per minute or 100 per hour. Per hour seems more sensible.

Oh, right. Will keep my peepers on the sky then.

Round about 10.30pm is supposed to be the best time to view.

It's raining a right load of cats and dogs at the minute.

My colleague ran into the rain as soon as it started today and danced.

Did she come back to planet Earth afterwards?

He kind of did. He was never really there in the first place.

I wonder why I referred to your colleague as a 'she', the Robyn. I really must stop assuming.
