Presumably they compared it against scripts submitted by the likes of yourself, Alfred.

Can't have been! Let me see, did I send in anything in the seocond half of last year...No, it turns out I didn't, so there we are! My March sent ms. would have long since been shredded by the time Amstell's masterpiece was being looked over.

I don't rate it. I think it's poor, an my hunch is that it won't get a very big audience and won't get a second series. However some people on this thread do apparently like it, so I assume if they were in top jobs and had seen this script they may have given it the greenlight. The point is, comedy is very subjective. One man's meat is another man's poison, etc etc.
