Thanks for that bit of diplomacy, Matthew...

Trouble is my middle name.

I like Tim Azure. And I like Matthew Stott.
But which is better.

There's only one way to find out...

Trouble is my middle name.

Ah that's what it was.
I thought they said Matthew troubles Tot.
I assumed you'd been causing aggro in the playground.

I'll get this one
>_<

:P

Trouble is my middle name.

And there was me thinking it was Glynis.

We are looking for short, fast paced sketches requiring minimal props/makeup that can be filmed in everyday locations. Strong, returning characters are welcome, as are series of sketches around a specific location.

This, plus the fact that the best sketches will be decided by the voting public, means it's 'catchphrases' time.

And it has to be Scottish.

So...I'm thinking "Computer says get tae f**k", "(Tartan) Suits you, Sir" and "Don't mention the war (unless it's Bannockburn).

(Either that or a "Gary: Tank Commander" rip-off)

It's another online voting "who can round up the most mates" thing?

But those are the only ones I can win!

It's another online voting "who can round up the most mates" thing?

"The successful writers will create material for a series of comedy sketches which will be produced for publication on STV's network of websites later this year. The most popular sketches, determined by a public reaction online, will be developed for a television programme for STV."

I have to admit that the idea of a 'public vote' puts me right off. But as I can't think of any other 'open submissions for TV comedy' it looks like I might as well give it a go.

David if I had your skills at getting your stuff out there in these kinds of contests I would be all over this like a rash.

It's all about building up a network. That and not being a c**t. I've got the first part squared up at least.
