Yes, no sketches though. Do you think it should be the same as TV sitcom? Or maybe TV drama (which I think also stands for single-camera sitcom) as they presumably won't be filmed in front of an audience?

I suspect that when they talk about "nationwide search" the nation they have in mind is Scotland.
In addition to the quotes picked out by Splodge they also say "We're looking for the very best of Scottish writing talent".
Sassenachs may not be actually barred from submitting, but I suspect that giving my address as Welwyn Garden City might lead to any submission being viewed less favourably.

Just do it the same as a TV sitcom, from a quick glance it's more or less the way I set out TV sketches.
Thanks Matthew.
Now all I need to worry about is the content (plus the fact I don't live in Scotland).

Yes, they haven't really made it clear have they? 'Scripts to be performed'. But how? Usually that would mean on stage.

I just stuck a few Scots words in there. I don't think you should overdo it.

Er, Swertyd, I'm not saying I don't know how to format a script, merely that they haven't expressed it very well. And anyway Indigo says they're not sketches. Someone else who wants sitcoms when most people just want to sell their sketches...

That's radio, though. It's also not how I've ever formatted a radio sketch! I'm sure it'll be fine as long as it's in a recognisable format, too much time is wasted worrying about that stuff instead of the actual content.
Thanks for all the responses. I was looking for TV sketch format rather than radio sketch (I've sent loads of things to Newsjack so already mastered radio layout).
I don't think formatting is hugely important, but I like to get it straight in my head before I start, in the same way that I like to be clear about the deadline and the brief. Otherwise I can't quite give my full attention to the content (I know that's pretty silly though).
It's not silly it's.... indigo
Sketches, I just knock 'em off and as far as the post box is concerned, indigo..

Yes, mostly!
Best place for most sketches!
Swertyd, Griff has suggested that I throw good advice in people's faces. Keep up the good work.

Fight!
Thanks for that bit of diplomacy, Matthew...
