What are you drinking? Page 114

A very large Guinness in a renaissance festival mug...yes, it's silly.

Andie, you don't live near Albany, do you? I'm going to be in North Adams, MA, this Friday through Sunday for http://solidsoundfestival.com

Well, not really close. About a 2 hour drive if I have the wind behind me...looks like an amazing show!

Lamb's Spiced and my word is it good, kicks Morgan's into a cocked hat on the spice front, it is properly spiced unlike the former. Take the lid off and you get a strong whiff of cloves, cinamon, mace or nutmeg. It's also 2.5% stronger. It is v good, tho I think I'll still be drinking Morgan's as a welcome change, you can taste the rum more, and I like the subtle flavour still. Glad that Lamb's now do one and I'm glad it's very different to the other. Cheers.

Darn. Ok, we'll meet some other day. I think an old Army buddy lives in Albany, so I'll try to work in at least one long-lost meet-up.

Looking forward to some cooler weather next week.

I'm going to grab a coffee in a minute.

That would be ace if you two met up in USA.

I'm still thinking about doing the SXSW fest next year.

I had a Newcastle Brown earlier. I think that may be my favourite beer of all time.

You really can't go wrong with it. My mates all take the piss out of me when I drink it in the pub, but what do they know. They practically lynched me in the pub the other week when I ordered a glass of red wine.

Someone called me a woman for drinking it once. The person in question was, of course, drinking a WKD at the time. What the hell's that all about?

Do it! It's a blast.

If my childcare situation was less crappy, I'd figure out a way to meet up with you. Enjoy the show!

I'm on Marks and Spencers wheat beer. I've never liked wheat beer before, but I think my palate finally appreciates it.

Wheat beers are nice on a hot day. The Monte Carlo casino in Vegas had a brewpub which made a fantastic wheat beer that really hit the spot on summer days when it was 110 degrees outside. They no longer brew their own beer. :(

Becks with pitta bread and a chilli dip. After a days hard toil in the garden. Excellent!

People who drink WKD's in my view are just kids, who want to get pissed but aren't man enough to enjoy the taste of alcohol. I personally think it's horrible stuff.
