Well, this seems to be the best one so far...and the price is fantastic!!!

:O Thats a darn fancy looking place

This is the view of the lake. It's not too fancy. I think the multiple decks and skylights make it a little showy.

Is that something from Frontierland at Disney World ?

No. Just a nice house on hill with lots of decks.

I think I see stonework on the ground floor! Sorry, that'll be first floor to you. I like that, I think it's a slight shame it's not all in stone, but that probably isn't legal in non urban America.

Seriously, you would need to be a lottery winner or a 24 year old City trader to afford that if it were over here.

It was built in 1892 and has had many changes made to the exterior over the years. But the inside is very lofty with hardwood floors. Lots of space, kids each get their own room, 3 bathrooms, on a decent size lot. I love it!

This place is listed for $149,900, which I think is a hell of a deal. Places across the road sell for at least double that. :)

If that was in England I would guess the price range to be around $800,000 - $1.5m depending where it was in the country.

And, by way of illustration . .

Hmm, have you called in an exorcist yet then?

And the rest, if it were in the south like you say. The difference between the US and us is they've got space still, we haven't, hence the silly prices we have over here, which incidently are still utterly ludicrous and designed only to make estate agents rich.

Holy Jesus. That's an amazing house!

I'd love to live next to some woods like that. And a flipping lake. Yum.

Likewise. Alas we were born in the wrong country.

I want that house!

Nice but it's in a 3rd world country with no health care, deadly armed fanatics and a president who I believe is in Al Quaeda.

I'll stick with my carboard box.

Insomnia seems to make me racist.
