Doesnt sound too good :(

Sad news indeed.

Not good :(

Sad indeed, I hear he was the voice of Paul McCartney on Yellow Submarine, or did I dream that? He was great as Onslow and in The Royle Family.

Hopefully he'll get better soon.

He was also in the controversial sitcom Curry And Chips

Anyone got the DVD of that? My mate brought it and told me the first episode was extremely good yet they declined in quality, with the final three being horrendously bad.

On the subject of Geoffrey Hughes, I wish him all the best and hope he makes a speedy recovery. He was outstanding as Onslow in Keeping Up Appearances.

C'mon Geoff !

You can beat this again.

Fingers crossed, this is very sad news. I've seen Geoff a few times over the years at folk music festivals having a right laugh.

I looked it up and he was Paul in Yellow Submarine.

A role now taken by Peter Serafinowicz in a 3D remake. I kid you not-

He had cameos in all sorts of things didn't he. I thought he livened up everything I saw him in.

Remember he did an appearance in an episode of 'You Rang M'Lord' where he was very good. He's just good fun.

Yea his wife in the show was played by Hilda Braid if I remember correctly.

Too bad to hear this. He was one of my favourites.

Not my Onslow! What will my dog Onslow do if his namesake is gone? Over time he's got in the habit of running into the living room when he hears the KUA theme tune. Very funny to see.

Universally liked, it would appear.

Me too.
