At least one more, as it's already been commisioned.

Unless Linehan is paying attention to this thread, which will almost certainly give him cause to reconsider and withdraw the series at once.

Perhaps somebody will tweet this thread to him. Or retweet it. Or whatever the hell you do on twitter.

Seeing as how he's a big internet fan, I'd be very surprised if he doesn't browse this site from time to time. Perhaps he's even a member under an assumed name; something like 'Eagle Mouse', or 'Chipolata'.

Or gets a partner good at plotting.
He seems to need someone else to bounce things off.
Two CPUs are better than one.
Well, there goes another series of The IT Crowd!!!
Funny how, your appetite grows and before you know it, it's all done and dusted. I think eight episodes would be much better all round.
So, everyone has their 'good bits & bad bits' reviews. Personally, I totally agree about the Countdown episode, or specific sections of it. Also, overall, I think eps 4 & 5 were fab!!!!!
The last episode felt very flat, like rushing the last page on a report!!! ... and far too much of Douglas, even although he can be funny in brief sketches, which I think works best for his character.
Oh well, I guess we have to watch them a zillion times, in prep for the next series.
All the best,
Siv
The 5th series is apparently going to be written by several writers online.

I watched the American pilot of The IT Crowd yesterday, the women playing Jen is horrible. Absolutley terrible. The bloke from 'Community' playing Roy is fine, though. Moss has shorter hair , for some reason. The boss is rubbish.
I stopped reading at "American"
(as it's all too familiar a story, American version of this, American version of that! ... TAXI!!!!)
Quality British Telly will ALWAYS be Quality TV, wherever you are in this world!

You're right, Taxi was a good show.
It was odd that Moss was played by the same actor; they did the same thing with the American Red Dwarf Pilots, keeping the original Kryten.

Against all Linehan's wishes too.
Richard Ayoade, HOW COULD YOU!!!!!
(now I need to put on my serious glasses) lololol
... maybe Apple are paying him BIG BUCKS and he's living the dream?
All the best,
Cal
