Hello, I'm new here. I'm Simon and I'm forty, so young enough to have missed Python, Fawlty Towers etc but old enough to have been forced to sit through Mind Your Language but enjoy Some Mother's, The Good Life and LOTSW. Really came of age with The Young Ones, Blackadder etc. Seem to remember (vaguely) coming home drunk to Reeves and Mortimer and really really coming of age with Father Ted. Love the Gervais / Merchant stuff plus Higson, Whitehouse etc.
Hello, I'm new...

Hello, welcome, sorry about the spammer!
Hello, I'm not new.
Hey. You look very young for forty!
Hello there!
Hi Simon, as a newbie your aim should be to ahieve the same status as mine - secondhand. Then you'll have amused, been used and abused and can look back on the days of swine and red noses with nostrilalgia.
Hello.
I'd rather be 40 and watch stuff on DVD than be 50 and have seen the originals.
But that because I'm 50.
Have a lovely time here.
You'll meet some right mentals.

Hellooo People I'm new. Being technophobic and technocrapic I haven't a clue how to find my way around this site yet but so far have found that it is full of nuggets of gold and fascinating personalities. To summarise myself I am, (without wishing to brag) the epitomy of your typical gall bladder patient, fat, female, fair and fortyish. I can't put up a photo because it'll be like having my mother look back at me each time I log on. But the rest of you all look great and sound really smart so I'm delighted to have beeen able to inveigle my way onto this list. I'm looking forward to have a go at writing for radio in particular.
