2nd day of not eating meat.

Got a BBQ later. Oh dear. Going to take some Linda Macartney sausages.

Why not just eat a little bit of meat?

You really have to work on your come on lines.

:D

Have you ever noticed how vegetarians try to make vegetables look like meat things?

I don't feel the need to shape minced beef to look like carrots or slice chicken into very thin strips that look like noodles.

I have always found that very odd.

Sick

I don't mind vegetarian sausages etc, but don't eat them that often.

Good point. If I ever want meat to look like vegetables I shall merely stick two fingers down my throat and consume the regurgitated mess.

How about that time I sculpted a lifesize sculpture of you out of bean curd and all the vegetarians in the room descended on it like a pack of hungry velociraptors? There was nothing odd about that.

You'll never get skinny that way.

Mmm . . . Tofu . . . mmmm . . . bean curd . . .

Skinny? What do you think I am? Some kind of 'indie rocker'? Goodness me.

Well, a hot dog shape fits well into a hot dog roll, same goes for a burger and it's bun. Apart from that, I can't think of many times a veggie versions tries to replicate the shape of the meat it is replicating.

What about those veggie sausages? (Not hotdogs, sausages)

And then there are the bean chops.

What shape would you prefer, Stott? How big or small would it have to be before it would be something you'd choke on or wouldn't be able to fit into your mouth? A sausage is a good shape. It's a sausage shape. If it were any other shape, it may be called a finger or roll.

Not heard of bean chops! Where have you seen these? :D

It's just that they call them sausages, and are advertised as such; but they're not sauasages. Call them something else! 'Potatoe and Carrot Lengths' perhaps.

That might be a pretend one . . .
