San Antonio has a huge rodeo. I should try to make it this year.

Do you have to blow them up with your lungs if the machine breaks?
No, we use a tilt valve and a sizer.
Hey Everybody!
Just found out the the shitty-ass e-mail that was sent to me from my dad explaining that he wasn't going to help me into a new house was actually sent by my mom while she was at work. It seems she can't stand the idea of my family having a nicer place that she does.
So, long story short, it looks as though I am now the product of a broken home at the tender age of 33. Looks as though the parents are splitting.
Oh Andie.
What the heck?
Does this mean your Dad might still want to help you, though?
Quote: zooo @ July 30 2010, 8:33 PM BSTAnd I'm definitely glad my mum never took me to see a lion do humiliating tricks, while I sat there knowing it lived in a tiny cage 24/7.
That's not fun that's f**king depressing.
You were robbed of your childhood.

If he can afford to...

Pff.

Yay!
Just had some quite spicy Indian based food. No idea what most of them where, samosas in stuff, they were good.
I made a nice curry tonight. Put maybe a smidgen too much 'After Death' sauce in it, but I'll live.

Are they push-down/pop-up ones?

It was a rhetorical question, 'cos with you there 6 days a week, I imagined no-one would be able to get into the shop as it would be completely full of balloons.
I don't think you have quite got the hang of this higher education thing.
In the long summer break you should be broadening your experience, either taking that boyfriend of yourn on a backpack tour or going on a short apprentice course, though quite what apprenticeship courses are relevant to Eng Lit I'm not sure.
My first summer break at Uni was spent on a short apprentice ship course at AEI Rugby, we were housed in Lutterworth & I had my motorbike to commute from there to the works. In an amazing 8 weeks I REALLY learned how to do metalwork, use a lathe & milling machines and make sand-moulds in the factory for the night shift to fill with molten iron. {Making moulds is like making precise sand castles} Next day we would break the moulds and see if we had made successful electic motor castings.
All that came in incredibly useful later, for me.
As I say, I'm not sure what would be relevant equivalent experience for an Eng Lit student, but I do get the feeling that living at home & working in a party goods shop isn't really very challenging or mind broadening.

Oh, dear.... But at least it might mean that your Dad will still help with your housing.

Don't panic ! Jeremy Kyle is taking his show to the Colonies . . if your parents could just hold on a little while I'm sure he and Graham can sort it.
