Meat.......or beet? Page 8
Quote: Nat Wicks @ July 30 2010, 9:49 AM BSTFlaxseed, hemp seeds, Rapeseed, Walnuts are all good sources of Omega 3!
Not long chain. It's only the long chain that is of special benefit, and if you aren't eating seafoods, then look for an algae supplement, or die. OK, maybe that's an exaggeration, but recent studies show that there is a significant health benefit to getting the right balance between omega 3 and omega 6.
Quote: chipolata @ July 30 2010, 1:20 PM BSTThere's better pictures of them than that out there.
I look forward to the publication of your comprehensive index of them.

True facts. However similar studies also suggested that veggies and vegans were no more likely to suffer Omega 3 deficiancies than meat/fish eaters.. Maybe it's because they're all popping seaweed pills..
Anyway, we're going off topic- this thread is about vaginas..
Vagitarian.

Rustic.
Quote: Leevil @ July 29 2010, 3:20 PM BSTI love potato bakes. The challenge comes though when I share a meal with my missus ad she's a vegan. Recreating a cheesy topping is possible, but dang, it's pot=luck to whether it'll come out right and ruin the whole dish or not.
Yes, I'd agree that a vegan hint will ruin any dish.
Quote: zooo @ July 29 2010, 5:36 PM BSTI think meat eaters who refuse to eat any meal without some meat in are a bit mental.
Aside from the mentals on that BBC Three show perhaps, are there such people?
Quote: Leevil @ July 29 2010, 7:37 PM BSTI'm making a tofu dish right now, kinda like some sort of chicken and mushroom sauce thing, but without the mushroom Wish me luck!
But you included the chicken? Good man!
Quote: EllieJP @ July 30 2010, 12:56 PM BSTI will probably eat it every other day, fish that is
Flipping Jesus.

In that case, I think I may be going to die. (Well, duh, but y'know...)

Um, no. Kinda-a-like chicken.
It evidently wasn't a chicken sauce thing then, was it? Eh eh? You lied to us.
Not it wasn't but it was pretty good sauce. I used a herb packet that was intended for chicken sauce, and other chickeny things.

Got a BBQ later. Oh dear. Going to take some Linda Macartney sausages.
I ate a very nice chicken for my tea last night (stop it children!). I had plently left to bring for my lunch but I have forgotten it. Doh!

Vege sausages don't barbecue well.
