What a pillock.
Don't let me down by the Beatles from the Past Masters album.
It's amazing how much of their good stuff was never originally released on LPs.

Reminds me to go listen to We Can Work It Out.
The Adventures of Stevie V - Dirty Cash (Money Talks)
I'm rather enjoying Young Adult Friction by The Pains of Being Pure at Heart.

I've been contemplating picking something of theirs up for a while.
They're nice and jangly. Like my keys.

The singing is a little fey sounding though. That may get a bit tiresome over a whole album.
You shouldn't like fey indie pop then!

Quote: Ben @ July 27 2010, 11:41 PM BSTI was listening to The White Stripes earlier. I consider them to be one of the few 00s band to have a decent run of decent albums.
Love The White Stripes. I've seen them twice too, brilliant.

I've seen them once. I'd love to have seen them when they broke through in Summer 2001. Those gigs looked sexy. Now what do have? The Bloody Pains of Being Pure at Heart.

I think I saw them first in around 2002-ish, in quite a small venue. The other time was at a festival, so not as good.
The first time I saw them, they had the worst band supporting them I've ever seen. When the singer screamed 'We got two more left for you!' there was an audiable sigh from the crowd.
I saw She & Him a few weeks back, Ben. They was well smart.

I saw them at Nottingham Ice Arena, so it was fairly large. I remember telling a bigger boy that he'd taken my spot in the crowd and he graciously moved out of the way.

I've gone off them recently. They're still one of the better movie star bands though.

We were supposed to have seats upstairs the first time, but there was a door into the pit left momentarilly unguarded, and we scooted on in. What tinkers we were.

Such a fickle pickle.
