Great performances, but dull writing. Just didn't do anything for me.

I liked how desperate the Katherine Parkinson character was. And her "Call me" line near the end did make me laugh.

Enjoyed it, Mark Heap was as great as ever.

Was okay. I always like Katherine Parkinson.

I did like that it was set in Bucks, and they mentioned Milton Keynes. :)
Made me feel like I was home.

Thinking about it, this was a lot like Hyperdrive. Amiable but underwhelming.

I'm surprised at the lukewarm reception.

Milton Keynes?

You wait till episode three when they come down to Dorset, then you'll see how good British countryside can be!

Nah. Buckinghamshire countryside is the greenest and best there is!

Mark Heap's performance is pretty much the same as his postman in Sparrow's Fart to Morningwood, which became old pretty quickly. To be honest he is starting to get on my tits a bit.

On the plus side the English countryside looked wonderful.

I didn't really enjoy this either. Even my mum, who usually perseveres with programmes until the first episode is at least totally over, switched the channel. Having just watched Spaced for the first time too, Heap's performance was slightly disappointing in my opinion.

Shocked to learn that Mark Heap is 53.

A friend of mine is exactly like Mark Heap's character in this - mannerisms, speech, clothes, the lot. It was quite disorienting to watch.

You're sure you're not friends with Mark Heap?
