That Mitchell And Webb Look - Series 4 Page 14

Weak tonight. None of the sketches did much for me.

Hasn't finished yet!

Hasn't finished yet!

Now it has and my opinion stands!

That was painful to watch.

Christ on a bike!

*Shocked and stunned*

Sat there with a feeling of despair and futility creeping across me thinking 'Well, it must be me - it can't possibly be them!'.

But reading the above, maybe I'm ok. Thank guys.

In fairness, 'Tokyo Songs of Praise' at least had me thinking "How's this one going to end?" unlike all the other sketches.

Didn't make it any funnier, but at least it held the attention.

But, by God, that last sketch on the spaceship. That was really poor.

I liked the jet pack one and one or two others were'nt bad. Last one tho yes, pure tedium.

I thought it was better than the first two weeks, but still no great shakes. I liked the silliness of the boardroom/drinks sketch and the jet pack sketch. Why two quiz show sketches though?

Ouch.

I thought it was better than last week's episode, but by no means anything special. Disappointing.

I was enjoying the excruciating gameshow, but the reveal was disappointing, and then it just went on and on and...

Hennimore is beyond painful.

These guys are such great performers and I really want to enjoy this show, but they really are not meeting me halfway.

That was from the radio show wasn't it? The last series of the radio show was actually pretty good.

The Boardroom sketch was great, but I'd also heard it on the radio show.
This series has been poor by comparison to the others.
What a shame.
I thought the episode started well and the Gilbert & Sullivan was a nice idea for a runner.
But overall I can't even be bothered to Stottualise it I'm afraid.

Rev is getting some good reviews though...
I wonder if Olivia Coleman was the power behind the throne all along.

Oooh!

I <3 Olivia.

Anyway, I have just got in late and I missed tonight's show. But I did have access to red button stuff, so I tuned in to that. Jeez, that was beyond awful. Any newcomer presenting that sort of material to the BBC would be kicked out of town.

(Apologies if anyone here wrote it, but...)

Anyway, in a few years, when they produce some "best of" DVDs of That M&W Look, we'll likely look back on this show as easily the best British sketch show since Big Train.

They've already produced a "Best of" except they call it "Series 1". This particular emperor has long been naked. Mostly.
