Depends on the item. A single series, certainly hovering around the £5 mark would be a bargain, but a box set is going to be a tad higher.
I got Monty Python's Flying Circus Series 1-4 for £8 from Oxfam today. Well chuffed with that.

Argos are selling them for £3.99 a DVD so if you managed to shift the lot of them you could make a few quid, or potentially fail to sell anything and lose tons
