Books/websites about acting?

I'm doing something that involves an actor tangentally, and I was wondering if anybody can think of any books, films or websites about acting. I'm particularly interested in very pretentious material, although any suggestions greatfully recieved.

The most obvious I can think of is Being An Actor by Simon Callow.

Cheers, Griff. Have you seen or read Planer doing Nicholas Criag?
It's passed me by slightly.

Stanislavsky is the book for you

Is it an actor prepares?? I have it but can't be arsed to go up and check. God bless Google! :)

Ah yes. Bound to be something in that. Read some of that at college. Wants and means, and all that.

What did you base your Rage 5 YouTube monologue on, Marc?

No, who is it? She's very stern. She scares me a bit.

Ah, Elaine Pyke. Drama Commissioning Editor for Sky 1. No wonder she has time to act!

There's always, 'My name...'
