Okay, narrow the entrance requirements so only people who've had work put on professionally can enter.

Why don't you Babs and Griff book the Kings Head or somewhere, get some actors and put on your own show. Full 30 min versions, break between each one.

A Pack Of Three.

?

For the same reason I won't be writing three episodes for Sitcom Mission, i.e. idleness.

REINSTATING EARLIER EDIT: That'd be worth doing for three one-act plays.

It absolutely would, and you would get industry people along if you did it right. Few different nights.

would the venue be expensive to hire?

It costs a fair bit of money to hire a Canal Cafe or Kings Head for a few nights. However, there are ways around this... *taps nose*

Rhinoplasty?

Dan

Anway, good idea or not, I shan't be hiring any London theatres anytime soon.

I get the impression one of those is quite hard work. A million miles from laidback chilled Chip.

Nah.

If you build it they will come. :)

Years ago I put on something at the Etcetera Theatre in Camden, with a straight box office split. Unfortunately, the show was on at 11pm or thereabouts.

You wrote it? Or you helped organise it? Because with Griff out for being a miseble lazy bastard me and bushbaby are looking for a new partner.

Wrote. Organised. Performed. The whole shebang. Often to virtually nobody. Never quite got the hang of that publicity thing. Very expensive business.

Hey, if you need flyers distributed anywhere along the number 300 Oxford bus route, weekdays only, I'm there. No one can say I don't do my bit.
