In the Night Garden must terrify you,.

*Epic eye roll*

It seems the two of you disagree. I'm getting that impression. I shall watch it tonight, although it doesn't look like it aimed at my demographic.

I think it's everyone else who's seen it and posted who disagree with him, not just me. But it doesn't really matter if you like Holmes but don't like this version, there are going to be hundreds of other versions to come.

Oh, and did anyone spot Ben Green (Greensville) then? I did!

Ah right. Ok I quite liked the second half of Robert Downey Junior Holmes. So I'll give it a go with an open mind.

Yes! That was quite funny/cool.

I really liked it, I'm looking forward to next week. He was a bit Dr Who-ey (Or is it the other way round?) but that's no bad thing.

I loved it, although it being a cab driver was obvious as was Gatiss being his brother. Thought it was miles better than Guy Ritchie's. My only worry is that Moffat hasn't written the other two episodes.

I didn't think it was at all Dr Whoish.

Well that's a niche porn film.

I do indeed love it when Iggle Piggle does that, then falls over.

You may know nothing about detective shows. But your taste in surealist kids TV shows is unimpeachable.

So Steve Thompson wrote episode 2, who doesn't seem to have written anything else. And Gatiss wrote episode 3.

I thought there were 4 episodes....?

Only the three episodes. It was originally supposed to be just last night's as a pilot for a future series if successful, but the BBC commissioned two more due to it's sheer immenseness. 7.5 Million viewers last night say they made the right decision, though why it is on at 8.30pm next week is utterly bizarre. Up against the second half of Top Gear, what planet are these schedulers on?

Oh, don't be so silly now. (You also seem to be forgetting how you're the only person who has so far posted on here who didn't actually enjoy the show)

Ahhh, consider me remonstrated!
I only looked on imdb, and it's his only credit.

I heard a recent interview with Jimmy McGovern in which he said theatre writers make terrible TV writers. And there's certainly no guarantee that just because you can write in one medium you can write in another.

I have no intention of watching Sherlock.

Why not?

I watched and I may use my time machine to go back in time and save myself from watching it.

Perhaps by putting the TV on that show about the Amish? Maybe removing the batteries from my remote control.
