Shooting Stars - Series 7 Page 9

I hate to admit it, but I did laugh a couple of times at this week's episode. It's exceeded my expectations, and I don't say that often.

Anyone else concerned about Vics drinking?

No, I'm not his Mum.

Thought this week's episode was brilliant, very funny.

Do you mean from the report about him seeming drunk on Alan Carr's show? I haven't seen it yet just read about it.

But I will say he can sometimes seem drunk when he's not. (But as I said, I haven't seen it yet, maybe he gets his willy out.)

But also, he might just have had a few too many to drink whilst waiting to come on, so what? Doesn't make him an alcoholic, just someone who got a bit trashed before a TV appearance.

Indeed!

There have been a few shows that it's been suggested on including Alan Carr. Maybe he just takes advantage of the green room freebies, who wouldn't?

Frankly, if I had to go on Alan Carr's show, I'd probably get rat arsed as well.

Vic's always been liberal about drinking and has turned upto collect major awards completely smashed and falling over. The Shooting Stars mugs never contain tea allegedly. So I suppose he's proof that he's a drunk not alcoholic.

As alcoholics have to go to meetings.

As I suspected, he didn't seem particularly/overly drunk at all. He's often really awkward in interviews.

Cracking line up on tonight's episode. I've not had chance to watch any of this current series, but I'll be watching it tonight what with veteran war correspondent John Simpson, legendery sports reporter Chris Kamara and snappy dancer Brendan Cole making an appearance.

Chris Kamara!! Excellent!!

Another very enjoyable show. Stand out moments were Three Blind Mice sung in the style of George Mellie, and the cruel Norman Wisdom joke.

I liked when he gave them each a pound. And the Ikea/Ulrika joke.

I didn't know who the man was and I still don't know who the girl was, but no matter!

Chris Kamara is a football pundit/reporter on Sky Sports. He's funny as hell.
