Inception

Bit shit, innit?

Lot of hype for it, but I have no desire to see any film starring Leo Dicaprio, as he's as lousy an actor as Tom Cruise. Though it does have Michael Caine and the guy who was Tommy in 3rd Rock From the Sun.

DeCaprio was good in The Departed and Aviator. And Shutter Island.

I liked him pre-Titanic and I liked Titanic, but he's done nothing
I'm bothered about since. Nothing I can think of anyway.

Inception

Bit shit, innit?

No, it was fantastic.

How can you say he's a bad actor? Have you seen his older films?

How can you say he's a bad actor?

He's not, and he's getting better and better with age.

And actually Tom Cruise is also good at what he does.
But I can see how he would annoy.

Agreed. He's just about the best leading man in the business at the moment.

However, Inception still left me a little cold. All the characters seemed to have had a lobotomy and the 'action' scenes were kind of boring. Tom Hardy was very good though.

Cruise is great in Collateral.

The Departed was good, as was Shutter Island.

Oh, and Catch Me If You Can was very enjoyable too.

It wasn't really about the action, but come on, the scene where Levitt is fighting that guy whilst rolling up the walls, onto the ceiling, and so on was fantastic. I thought so anyway! But it's not what you'd call an action film.

Cruise is great in Collateral.

And Magnolia. He taught me to respect the cock. I never did before.

Cruise is great in Collateral.

And a great cameo in Tropic Thunder.

I can understand why it would leave some cold though, yeah.

I thought the trailer for Inception looked exciting.
Did they use up all the good bits in it?

It's just more of a talky film, in many ways, than an action one. It's a thinker more than pure spectacle. Though there is a lot of that too.
