The Psychiatrist for me from FT, cannot really be bettered imo. I won't give an analysis of how the episode works this time, it may upset someone. Morning Wave

Call me a Basil Fawlty but I couldn't really relate to the guests in this episode. That's the trouble with the supporting cast being changed all the time. Usually they get it right, though.

:) I <3 that episode. I think I could properly recite the whole episode without the need of a script book.

I'll level with you- I'm scared

I'll level with you - I'm scared

Laughing out loud Brilliant comment. Had me really laughing. A real fist for the comedy guide.

Frasier - the one where he wants to leave a car park straight after entering it and refuses to pay the fee.

Arrested Development - any of them but Out On a Limb is particularly great

Aw, it's a tricky one. But I'll say one...

For me I pick "Waldorf Salad" episode from Fawlty Towers. Cracks me up. Fawlty Towers was pure genius.

I reckon Spinners & Losers, the second of The Thick of It specials, the one where the PM resigns.

Possibly the best hour of TV I have ever seen.

Not quite in my top 3 FTs but it's in the top half for me. Probably one of their very best for writing, I mean, 'Run out of waldorfs' is from another level. Laughing out loud

The work outing from the second series of The IT Crowd has probably the funniest moment of sitcom I have seen.

Also like that episode of Peep Show where they go out on a river boat for Mark's stag do.

If it counts as an episode then The Jolly Boys Outing, for me, is a classic.

The Desperate Hours (take your pick from Steptoe and Porridge, both brilliant episodes).

I think we've had a similar thread before and if so I hope I said something like Communication Problems from Fawlty Towers from the UK and Homer the Heretic from The Simpsons from elsewhere.

Absolutely Fabulous when Patsy's sister tries to kill her but ends up dying herself, then Patsy wishing Saffy a Merry Christmas.

Goodnight Sweetheart when Phoebe gets stuck in the 1990s.

2point4 Children when Bill and Rona get trapped by live cobras and Ben, David and Jenny do a Blues Brothers number. Or even the episode with the cockroaches in the box of chocolates.

The Vicar of Dibley and the infamous puddle jumping episode.

Roseanne - The Halloween specials

They were fantastic

I was freelancing for a PR company and jokingly suggested using the Paxman Vs Swain interview for training purposes.
It might give some insight into the PR world of 'media professionals' that not a single person had ever seen or heard of the Thick of It.
