Just popped out to water the plants & saw a Jack Russell chasing a fox.
Saw almost exactly that here last night. A dog chasing a fox, a man chasing the dog. (and a kitty watching from a wall).
Oh the nights just fly by...

I saw a fox last year. It was just slinking through a garden. I waved, but it ignored me.

I saw a Vixen & two cubs in my neighbour's garden, this year.
She just stared at me. One cub slunk off through the fence. She picked up the other cub by the scruff of neck and came towards me, then slunk sideways through a hole in the neighbours' fence into the garden at the foot of our properties & I heard her walk past my fence but on the other side..
It could have been them or could have been a heron, that ate all my pond fish not long after that.
