Is Punchline starring Tom Hanks a BCG recommended film?
It's lovely, sweet and funny. It's also one of his early films when he was kinda a good natured light 80s comedy actor.
It also happens to be very truthful about the nature of comedy and standup.
So I'd say so. It also has John Goodman as a surprisingly good straight man.
I love 80s Tom Hanks.

Don't care about Mel Gibson being a cock, but if Tom Hanks turned out to be one I would be very upset. Unlikely to happen though, cos he's blimmin lovely.
