No, but there are ways in which the humour can be improved, and indeed more of it fit in, more satisfyingly.

A very true point. There have been several sitcoms that have been funny but have lacked a heart and although the jokes are good they leave me feeling a bit empty. When you start to care about the characters sometimes the jokes just seem better when they are between the characters you like.

Definitely the best of the series so far.
Lots to enjoy.

Really enjoyed last week's ep. Some very funny stuff.

I thought it was pretty good tonight. The first one of the series I've really enjoyed. It only took 5 episodes!

I thought it was great tonight, very funny. And Eldon makes an appearance! It was only a matter of time.

Mark Heap and Nick Frost next hopefully. Followed by Stephen Mangan, Julian Rhind-Tutt and Tamsin Greig. Simon Pegg is probably too big and in demand in America for this show now.

Was a brilliant episode. But I've loved the last 2 weeks' too.

Wonderful episode. It gets so much stronger when there's something IT-related in it. Great stuff, loved it. Roy is a fantastic character.

They have some very attractive extras and bit part players in this show. The blonde was very nice. So was that dark haired woman sitting on the floor.

The blonde was very nice.

She was... BEAUTIFUL. A blonde for all occasions.

I agree with Aaron wholeheartedly.

:O

*wanks*

An excellent episode. Rolling eyes

They did rather leave it hanging in the air at the end.

Ran out of time I expect.

It could have been funny to see the balloon explode and its affect on Roy.

Wow, really? I genuinely thought it was beyond poor tonight. Expected this episode to get a real mauling on here - especially the lame joke of the incomprehensible IT support man - and the whole hanging round the Whitgift centre stuff - not to mention the written coda about Roy and the balloon. The episode felt like it had been put together in a day or so from B ideas. There wasn't a single written joke - they were all visual. I realise that Linehan is primarily a visual comedian - and something of a genius at it, but I think the dialogue was barely passable tonight.

As for Roy being a great character - really Aaron? It felt like Dougal and Ted more than ever for me tonight. One thing the show really lacks is depth of character in my opinion. Mannerisms and tendencies are not character -even in sitcom.

Yes, really. :)

The French IT support worker wasn't particularly funny in itself, but I enjoyed Jen's response. Dealing with indecipherable foreigns on the phone is something I have to do at least once most days of the week. Except they're generally Indian, rather than froggy.

Bit too much IT related stuff for me tonight.
But the funniest of the series so far.
