I used to eat bricks as a toddler with my best mate Faye.
I tried it again last year but wasn't the same at all.

On a survival course I tried earthworms. The worst part is squeezing the dirt out first. They are supposed to taste like bacon; they really don't.
Well that beats bricks

I like them!
Don't tell anyone.
That depends; are we talking lego or London stock bricks?
I actually do remember chewing on Lego.
Didn't try to swallow it though, I'm not stupid!

House bricks, the old style tho, the crumbly ones you find halfs of at the side of the road.

Okay, that is quite strange. Geophagia is practiced in some parts of the world for health reasons, but the clay is not usually cooked first.
My parents once thought I'd swallowed some pennies, and so took me to the hospital. They didn't believe me when I said "What pennies?" so they took an X-ray. I hadn't eaten the pennies. But if I had, that'd be quite odd.
I've eaten this - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casu_marzu - on a fancy restaurant in Sardinia. Without knowing what it was at the time of cause.
So if you ever visit the peacock restaurant in Sardinia, be sure to pass when the head waiter, who circles the tables with a jar and a mysterious grin, offers taste samples.

Is that what it was then? haha

"When disturbed, the larvae can launch themselves for distances up to 15 centimetres" Yikes!

That actually explains quite a lot.
