It's Friday - annoying puzzle day! Page 38

Off the top of my head I think they were Bays.

Tiger Bay, the bay of pigs, can't remember the others.

There was no Quiz today, the QUizmaster was off doing a SCrabble competition somewhere.
We weren't happy in the office, It's the only reason we come in on a Friday.

Am I being given the Oldfinger?

Bump. So what linked the pig, tiger, sombrero, robin hood and the nut Steve?

So that's what kind of nut it was.

I think it was something stupid.
I thought they were olives but it was more general.
Like the bay of vines or the bay of fruit or something.

I'll find the answers when I'm back at work.

Oh I get it now.

Robin Hood Bay

Bay of Mexico?

Is there such a thing as a guantanamo nut ?

I've just remembered.
Botany Bay

Laughing out loud

Is your puzzle master still absent Steve?

Are they Greek gods?

19. 8 chances in 81 (assuming numbers drawn from two 'bags', allowing 11, 22, 33 etc - otherwise it's 1 in 9)

20. Renault/Ferrari

Greek Gods - No.
Neighbours correct.

Lotto - incorrect, although someon else in the office was adamant that 1/9 was the correct answer.
It's drawn from one bag in the Lotto.

I'm adamant that it's 1/9 if the numbers need to be drawn consecutively, 1,2; 5,6 etc. But I guess drawing 2,1; 5,6 counts as consecutive numbers, so it's 2/9.
