Doctor Who... Page 598

I see Moffat is executive producer of the new Sherlock Holmes thing coming soon. Should be interesting, not least because there are more than a few similarities between Holmes and Who.

And Mark Gatiss!
Mark Gatiss!

So good they named him twice...?

Yep!

Matt Smith apparently auditioned for the role of Watson, but Moffat thought he was far more of a Holmes than a Watson; the next day he auditioned for Doctor Who.

Mark Gatiss!

You mean the Mark Gatiss who wrote the appalling Victory of the Daleks?

Tee-riffic!

The guy playing Holmes has got a face whose unusualness of shape almost matches that of Smith's.

I didn't like The League of Gentlemen. Apart from series 3. That was quite good fun.

He would have been a good Who, too.

Crooked House, fair enough. I wouldn't touch his Box with a big old shitty stick.
