Milton Jones is definitely underrated though.

He is indeed, though he seems to have a huge radio catalogue and a "comedy brain"

Milton Jones-
Really do not find him much fun at all- one-trick pony. But the Mock the Week people seem to have decided to give him lots of space and time. Still, at least he isnt as bad as that curly haired comedian who speaks through a blocked nose. Or that giant canadian guy- he gets polite laughter too.

I know MTW is no barometer of comedy, but you hope for some funnies.

Good to see the time machine is working. Crosses "add my self to Steve Sunshine's list," now to the next one "prevent the unstoppable rise of the Bussell."

I'm constantly astounded that Gary Delaney isn't more popular than he is. I've seen him in Newcastle twice now and both times he has been spectacular. I know he's thought of quite highly on the circuit, but I think he's way better than the majority of top acts in the UK today.

I predict that his Edinburgh show (and his Fringe debut) "Purist", will catapult him into the big leagues.

He's regarded as one of the best joke writers in the country and I think people will start recognizing him as the great stand up that he is.

I saw one of his previews last month, it was really really good. Especially because he took a bit of a shine to me and my fella and kept involving us, so we were a little more invested than most !

I hope he does well this year, he certainly deserves it.

I'd be quite interested to see him one day, as he get's a lot of mentions on Twitter. although I'd only really heard of him from a Mother in law joke competition.

Has he done much telly work?

I see from his Wikipedia entry that he goes out with Sarah Millican.

He does indeed. They soemtimes gig together, but not often. When I saw him it was a double preview with Sarah Millican- that was an excellent night.

If he's done any TV he certainly hasn't recently.

Warning though: his jokes do often get a bit offensive. They generally get bluer the longer he goes on. But it's always funny, and very rarely cruel.

Arnab Chanda always makes me laugh. He seems to be on the brink of making it big but hasn't quite managed it yet.
