I probably would have given them a lovely smile instead.

A gratuity of $12 per day and 15% of all drink purchases is added to your account, so even cheapskates like yourself are forced to acknowledge the outstanding service provided by the staff. ;)

I'd love to be able to pay my staff less by charging by customers the privalage for the use of them.

Do you tip your bank manager when he gives you great service. Or what about those stewardesses on the plane back from vegas?

It just seems odd that everyone thinks it okay to tip waiting staff (or any cruise staff).

I'm with the lovely smile school of tipping I'm afraid.

If a restaurant employee is lucky then they might find I've left them a tip of something nearing 10%.

But not if they're shit like most of them are.

At least in America they have a reason to treat you well, I suppose!

Some tip some don't. I get great service in my local where they don't take tips, or are not allowed to, but sometimes you work around it. In America the culture is to tip and drinks are cheaper anyway. Personally BF I'd love to have staff to pay anything... let alone less :)

Found out that coyotes were spotted about a mile from my home...fitting, isn't it??

Having dinner and beers at the Vegas airport. It's 109F/43C outside!

Home at last!

My cat and beer seem to be intact. Time for 5 or 6 hours of sleep before rejoining the workforce.

Welcome home. Who's been feeding your cat DaButt?

Ellie is getting very fed up with house hunting but should have somewhere to go by the end of today! SHOULD!

Chip's designing a leaflet and doing a bloody good job of it. Art departments! Who needs 'em!

Why don't you do a whole leaf?

You non-artists! Rolling eyes

Walk before you can run kind of thing. Very wise. :)
