Strange - the branches I've been in have been stocking the normal Carlton/ITV releases.

Oh.

Maybe I should go in a have a proper gander then.

Stay tuned.

You are, of course, correct.

DeAgostini must have used the ITV ones for their release as the face montage is definitely the same.

More likely that DeAgonisti and Carlton just bought the same art rights!

Is this a good one?

Let Them Eat Cake for £3.87 from Base.com?

Are Base.com any good?

I've ordered from Base.com lots of times and never had any problems.

Yes and yes. They used to be DVD.co.uk, if you ever ordered there.

Never did but I've heard the name before.

Will order it I think.

When I'm searching, another one comes up called Select Cheaper, but I've never heard of it.

They're fine. (I doubt there's a shop I haven't used.)

Ever used CDON? I think they're Swedish :) I'm going to catch you out somwewhere haha.

If they're okay then might use them in future if they're cheaper, just like to know that they're not dodgy lols

Maybe I should have specified 'British comedy DVDs'. >_<

Haha, well I'll find something.

Surely you've never used WHSmith online? Have to be deathly expensive!

I think I may have done - once.

Were they any good?

I always think they're way overpriced compared to most of the others. I was thinking they would go the same way as Woolworths if they didn't become a bit cheaper.

I ordered Let Them Eat Cake, next on the list is Maid Marian and Her Merry Men

Well I don't recall them being bad, so I assume I was satisfied with the service. But they are very, very rarely the cheapest place to get something, so I've not had cause to use them since.

(The Maid Marian box set is fantastic.)

Hence why I've never used them yet :)

There was a time (Before Asda) that it was one of only 2 places to get CDs and DVDs in Widnes (It was a dive), now I walk in and out. Sad times.

I like HMV and The Hut, along with Amazon.
