Things that piss you off Page 55

People who ooze that curry, garlic smell from their pores.

I was sitting next to one on a bus once and was nearly sick.

David please. Have a little respect, i'm from Bradford, wonderful things come from Bradford, the woolen trade, the great JB Priestley, and mucky, dirty, smelly curry, i hate the bleedin stuff, and all who sail it it.

DEFINITELY agree. (In fact, I loathe all garlic-based smells, but anyway.)

I've had to move to a different carriage on the train in order to get away from it in the past. Worst if it's windy and you get stuck walking behind one of them in the street though. It's like a slipstream of stomach-churning vileness.

You wanna try an over crowded bus in Bradford mate, i feel like a spot on a domino

I don't get what you're trying to do.

I think that this is a Manning joke....

Whether that's good or bad depends upon your opinion, or possible sanity ;)

I hope that wink comes across as friendly.

Yes, the wink was very friendly, and Manning didn't come from Bradford, nor did he ride busses, wink, wink,

No, but he did make the joke that in the north he felt like a spot on a domino.

The wink comment was said purely because the wink emoticon doesn't look particularly friendly. It looks like a gentleman with a bee stuck in his eye, which is not the emotion that I was intending to convey.

Anyhoo, at the moment I'm pissed off by adverts that make wine look like a life giving alchemist's fluid. It's a great drink but no more damnit! I'm also pissed off with how easily I get pissed off.

What if i do it with both eyes? wink, shit! i forgot, i only have one.

Damned radioactive powerstation.

At least our one's given me eight fists to shake at it.

As long as you only shake them, we'll be ok. Right! i'm off to grab 20 winks.

Why the fook were you on a bus Dave?
Are you a bus spotter. You are arent you. You collect little buses & ride on them for kicks eh!

Garlic is a superb cooking ingredient, and not just for curries (which I adore) but pasta and stir-fry dishes too! I welcome the Asian and Mediterranean influence to our national cuisine... old Bernard Manning looked like he'd eaten a few good curries in his time too... good on him for supporting his local Indian Restuarants!

Wonderful stuff garlic!

Oh, sorry ... wrong thread ... things that piss you off...

Mmm has to be those who practice Racial Prejudice and Politically Correct-ists, both equally vile IMHO and both needing to apply some correction to their thought processes... <wink!> ;-)

I hate only having half an hour for lunch...what happens when you want to have lunch with a friend and by the time you actually get your food and only got half way through your pint it's time to go back. So do what i do - take an extra 15mins and get in trouble. Beer courage - not good!
