Cheers guys! I'll keep you posted.
Though this 'shortlist' might not be as short as the name would suggest...
REJECTED. Shane Allen said it 'wasn't funny enough'. Gutted.
I know that one. Still, don't linger on it, get back up on the horse and f**k shit up.

Shit. Well done for getting to that stage though.

Bad luck, but it'll probably happen a lot before something sneaks through. A few weeks ago I had something rejected, within hours of each other, by the BBC and Channel 4! That was a jolly morning. You just have to shrug it off and carry on with the next thing.

You know, words can hurt David. Words can hurt.
*weeps*
Cheers for the support guys! I'm sure I'll keep plugging away...well, after I've got the obligatory 'Get pissed up and bitch about the industry' weekend out of the way.
Bad luck dude. It's not much comfort but to even get a viewing is a big step, it really is...
I take it the writers above have all got agents?

With all the talk of submitting scripts, and being a writer myself, I was just curious.

You don't need an agent to submit work, either to a prod company or a channel.
Though, having just said that, many prod companies do say they don't accept work unless through an agent, but even then some will if you conatact them and ask.
