Why aren't Baddiel and Skinner on TV anymore?

'Unplanned' was okay, but after watching that James Corden show on ITV, I want to see them return to TV to talk about football. Even weekly, they are too good together not to. I didn't know they still worked together until I saw this: bit.ly/bntRBu.

Does anyone else think they should still be on our screens?

They're doing a load of World Cup podcasts for Absolute Radio. Some of them are 'Live and Unplanned' ones.

They did a series for either the last World Cup or the Euros (more likely) for the Guardian too. They're all free and entertaining and talking about football so why don't you have a listen. There are 18 of them already for you to catch up with, and they're 20-25 minutes each.

Let's see, how can I best put this?

No.

Really skinner is the funny one with the charisma.

Baddiel? Mmmm - the answer is in the name - although I quite fancy his missus.

I've always liked Baddiel better.
They both have completely different comedic styles though, and are both great, so I think they work very well together. I'd love to see another series of Unplanned.

I think Baddiel's more into writing and directing these days. Maybe he hasn't got the time to devote to presenting?

Hold on, David Baddiel's a comedian?

:D

He had to put something on his passport I suppose.

He makes Sid Little look like Groucho Marx.

His stand up in the late '90s was great, actually. :)

Not sure I've seen his more recent stuff, if he's done any.

Fairs fair.
He was good in the Mary Whitehouse experience & Newman & Baddiel.
But I think he's had his day.

Whereas Skinner is still pretty funny like him or not.

Baddiel's a novelist now, he's gone up in the world.

See that!
That's him that is!

How about 'I'm never coming back!' ?

Frank did 'Opinionated' which was 'Baddiel and Skinner unplanned - without Baddiel'. The live series of Unplanned were the best, but I hear Baddiel is shying away from T.V. What a crime!!!
