Yay, someone actually saw it! Surprised you recognised me under all the make-up and the cowl. It's a pretty little film, isn't it? Rained like a swine through the whole shoot though.

Was it fun to do Dave?

Well yeah ... I didn't see that. And I wasn't expecting a pasty faced Bussell to pop up on my screen just as I was about to tuck into some beans on toast! So it was about me and my status - not mister pasty face with the emo girlfriend.

:D

Spotted you straight off! Which is either a good or a bad thing. I think it was great - can't see how they made it with 5k mind, everyone was doing it for free I guess???

Despite my griping about the weather, yeah, it was a blast to shoot. I wouldn't want to do it every day (acting's largely sitting around waiting for lights to be set up) but it was fun being part of a proper crew and taking the finished film to Edinburgh.

You went with the film? That's pretty darn cool man. From the stills it looks great.

Think I'll stick to behind the camera's myself lol!

She is so going to cut herself when she reads that...

No one got paid - all the money went towards kit hire, wardrobe, props and catering. One thing we learned from making Missing Scene is how much of a budget is eaten up just getting cast and crew to the set and feeding them (plus disposing of the dead hookers from Eldon's trailer).

Talking of which. How is Missing Scene coming along?

Picture lock yesterday, final sound dub and grading expected in the next two weeks. Then it's time to see if anyone's the least bit interested in what we've ended up with...

Awesome! £50 says within 6 months it's in production.

SKY get that for 5K then? Seems like a good deal for them. I take it you did your own make up? Any way well done all round is what I say! You did a sterling job! :)

It's a smashing deal for them and also for me if this thing's developed into a feature as is hoped...

I'm sure Alice mentioned, if the feature went ahead, giving Ben Ricketts a shot at your role instead. She was very impressed with his interpretation of 'Finger Clicking Scientist 3'.

The boy is practically made out of rhythm.

Rhythm And Sex; which was also the name of his short lived funk band.

*Shrug* Why anyone would buy it when they can download is beyond me.
