It's an enjoyable romp and makes and it more sense than any recent Who episodes (even if I do enjoy them too).
I'm not gonna start arguing which is the better as, in the grand scheme of things, they've both got plenty wrong with them. I'm just putting the information out there.

I'm assuming you have 2 testicles? Hence riffing on your use of the word both.
But Primeval was just another soggy, soapy, poorly acted Brit scifi tea time show disapointment. Lumpy plots, lumpy acting and no real sense of danger/tension. Compare it to Lost or BSG or even Buffy and you see how poor it is.
Whereas Dr Who effortlessly denies comparison.

I wasn't comparing it to Lost or BSG and never would. They're in another league.
Buffy, Doctor Who and Primeval exist in the same plane though. Entertainment, rather than drama.

Whenever I see a forum about Primeval anywhere on the internet it always turns into a Primeval vs Doctor Who debate. Yes of course Doctor Who is better. Doctor Who is amazing. But that doesn't mean Primeval is trash, it's just not as fantastic.
