They didn't like it up 'em!

Within minutes of the loss I had this text...

OXO are set to release their new cube on monday. It comes in a white wrapper with a red cross on it. They are calling it The Laughing Stock!

I'd imagine Crouch will be pretty f**ked off at the amount of football he's played during the tournament. He's scored a lot of goals for England.

Yes, Capello simply doesn't like him and isn't honest enough to say it. Crouch has over 20 England goals, at a great strike rate, most I believe are with his feet, and he creates other goals and general panic with his height. And Capello kept on using the most ineffective forward England have possibly ever had, in his place! Not just Crouch has a right to be angry at the big jawed dumb Italian, money grabbing twat.

Is anyone listening to Talksport? Stan Collymore seems to be putting all the blame for England's debacle on James Corden. Oh, and he's been accusing England fans of being "Tub-thumping Nationalists", for simply showing a bit of passion during football tournaments.

Is that Stan "Swedish TV presenter thumping" Collymore?

Mind you, all the rampant jingoism is ridiculous when you consider how lame our national team is. It's out of all proportion to our actual skills. We should just accept that we're a second rate footballing nation and treat even reaching a major championships as a victory. We'd be much happier.

Jingoism? It's sport. English people are simply supporting the england team. Who else are they meant to support?

Argentinia. At least then they'd be supporting a winning team.

Capello is useless.

If brains were dynamite - he wouldn't have enough to blow his hat off.

Did anyone hear Chris Waddle on Radio 5 after the game? He was getting quite worked up about the FA's approach to the national team.

England played well for about 20 minutes when it was 2-1, but that was it sadly.

That was excellent! I thought he was going to go on a rampage.

To all the Man United fans, all the Chelsea fans, all the Liverpool fans and all the Arsenal fans: if you were following England today this is the closest you'll ever be to understanding what it's like to be a real football fan.

We know what it's like to be s**t, to be ninety seconds away from being relegated into the Old Third Division and to have your hopes of a first trophy in decades ruined by a moment of madness, like a Craig Burley backpass. So I'd appreciate it if you didn't group us in there with those other clubs.

Thank you.

The post-mortem continues on talkSPORT.

Presenter thinks Germany should have allowed England to 'walk a goal in', after Lampard's shot crossed the line.

Did you hear Ray Parlour referring to Germany as "West Germany"?
