All shop keepers are keen to show their support for England. I notice every curry house and kebab shop have them up, which I find very strange.
However, I have just seen a massive cross of St-George in, of all places, a funeral director's window!!!

Why does the news keep asking poor peoples opinions? I've got nothing against poor people, as I am one myself. But I don't care about what exactly they think. I know what I think, and I can imagine what the opposite of my opinion would sound like. So this serves no purpose and I leave the news coming away with no many facts but loads of pointless opinions.

Just got back from Hancock's Finest Hour.
Excellent and much recommended to comedy fans.
I won't say too much in case anyone goes to see it but Paul Henry was superb (not a hint of Benny!) the two supporting actors were fine. They must have got through twenty other parts between them and, for me, it worked.
Sad side, apart from Hancock's life and torments, I'd booked dress circle aisle seat but when I got there they had closed all but the stalls due to poor ticket sales so it was 'sit where you like in the stalls'. I would guess there were only about 100 people there. I think it was a bit ambitious though to put, what is after all a niche market show, on for a week.
As I say, thoroughly recommended.

Really have to agree with this kind of sentiment most strongly. Yeah, it's kind of interesting (to an extent) to hear about how things affect specific situations, but just opinion? No thanks. I really wish that news would stop being so pathetic, and so emotive, and just report cold hard facts, not being squeamish or pandering. Bah.
