FILL MY SLOT - MISH MASH LOOKING FOR OPEN MICERS
Mish Mash Cabaret is looking for Open Micers for Fill My Slot. We now have a regular monthly night on every second Friday at the Circle Club in Manchester City Centre - starting on Friday July 9th. We are looking for open micers to join us at the Circle, with a view to finding new performers for our show at this year's Manchester Pride. We are delighted to be staging a Mish Mash extravaganza on the Sackville Gardens Stage on the Saturday night of the Big Weekend - 28th August.
Mish Mash has performed at a number of venues around the North West including Bury Met, the Didsbury Festival, and the Briton's Protection. We have featured a number of lop comedy names Lady Garden and Maureen Younger, plus live bands including Louis Barrabus and Bye Bye Johnny.
Mish Mash aims to be different as well as funny. In looking for new acts we welcome poetry, dancing, magic and burlesque - if it's funny or exciting - get in touch ! We are looking for a number new acts to do 5mins material each .... and see how it goes.
Each Mish Mash show has the usual mix of live music, comedy, burlesque and the not to be missed celebrity raffle. All held together by radio presenter Chris Holliday.
